Steve Jobs to be Immortalized With 7-foot Bronze Sculpture

Apple co-founder Steve Jobs has been immortalized by a Hungarian software company, who has commissioned a 7-foot tall bronze statue to be constructed in his honor, reports the Huffington Post.

Jobs’ passing has seen an incredible number of tribute works and an overwhelming outpouring of responses, but this may be one of the most incredible tributes yet.

The statue is being built by Graphisoft chairman Gabor Bojar, with sculptor Erno Toth as the artist doing the actual heavy work behind the project.

The likeness is designed to mimic Jobs’ trademark keynote style, complete with the iconic turtleneck and jeans and an iPhone in hand. The statue is based on a photo of Job pulled from The Economist. Bojar states that his initial admiration of Jobs began when the two men met in person at a tech expo three decade ago.
