Apple to Open New Amsterdam Store in mid-February

Apple is planning to open their first ever store in the Amsterdam in mid-February, Dutch site iPhoneClub reports (via MacGeneration), with the classic glass staircase already partially visible in photos.

The store, located on the Leidseplein square, is underneath property that Apple already owns and is being built in the location of a former bank.

This represents Apple’s first foray into the Dutch retail market, and with the store in a popular location, it could turn out to be quite lucrative.
