Apple’s ‘Red Friday’ Sale Goes Live Across Asia

Following our report earlier this week that Apple was planning a Lunar New Year “Red Friday” sale in its Asian markets to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, MacRumors reports that the sale has now officially gone live at the Apple Online Store for all eligible regions.

The discounts appear to be quite similar to the Black Friday discounts offered in the U.S. on the day after Thanksgiving, with small discounts on iPods and Macs ranging from 6% to 10%, and some significant deals on accessories as well.

Red Friday is valid for one day only, and prices are available at Apple Online Stores for the China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines regions.
