Griffin Twenty Makes Any Set of Speakers AirPlay Compatible

Shown at the CES Unveiled press event held last Sunday, Griffin’s new Twenty amp (which looks like something Apple could have designed themselves) allows you to turn virtually any set of speakers into an AirPlay compatible speaker system by linking up with Apple’s AirPort Express.

The Twenty accepts a variety of different audio connections, and will ship with a Toslink cable to hook up to the AirPort Express’s optical port, as well as a passthrough to power both the AirPort and the Twenty.

Even better, the Twenty can even drive a powered subwoofer! No details have been released on pricing or availability, but you can enter your email on Griffin’s website to be notified as soon as the device is available.
