After a lengthy period of backlog and limited availability of the iPhone 4S following its October launch, Apple has now finally caught up to demand, and lists the iPhone 4S as “In Stock” in the Apple Online Store for most areas.
Customers have previously faced significant shipping delays for the device, which shifted to just 3-5 days earlier this month before finally settling in at near immediate availability for shipping.
Strong demand continues to be present for the iPhone 4S, with the device widely exceeding sales estimates with a reported 37 million iPhones sold in the final quarter of 2011, most of which were the iPhone 4S.
