There have been several cases in recent months which allow you to use your iPhone to open a beer, but the Intoxicase is slightly different. Not only does it allow you to perform you’re basic function, it also counts the number of bottles you’ve opened using the gyroscope and displays the numbers in a neat app which tells you what state of sobriety you’re in.
At $35 it’s pretty cheap considering that the Opena case is $40 and doesn’t have the beer counting app. This is probably the best bottle opening case I’ve seen, simply because it connects with an app, so it is both practical and informative.
Having said all that, I’m pretty sure that if you are ‘wasted’, you’re a) in no fit state to use a phone and b) not in need of another drink, so it has its limits.
