PlayStation Vita Software Now Compatible With Mac

Sony’s PlayStation Vita, which is currently only available in Japan but will be released everywhere else later this month, has been made fully compatible with Mac after an update to the Content Manager Assistant, MacGeneration reports.

Sony’s official software now runs on Mac, so when you get your Vita (or have your Vita if you’re in Japan), you won’t have any compatibility problems. The new handheld console is expected to be a big hit, and Sony obviously doesn’t want to restrict their potential market by not making the software for Mac.

The Content Manager Assistant allows you to easily transfer music, games and video to your PSP, even though if it’s anything like the previous generation PSP’s you can also do it directly via the memory card.
