Remarks for iPad – A Great New PDF Annotating and Note-Taking App for iOS

Readdle has just released their latest iPad app called Remarks ($4.99, App Store link) – a full-featured app offering incredibly accurate handwriting recognition, photo importing, PDF annotation, note taking and more.

Remarks offers a number of ways to import content, including iTunes File Sharing and opening through email, and stores all of your documents right on the device (with support for folders), while allowing you to sync your library through Dropbox or Box.net.

What impressed me most are first, the app’s incredibly accurate handwriting recognition – it’s better than anything else I’ve seen on the iPad so far. I was also especially impressed with how complete and feature-packed the app’s PDF annotation is.

All you have to do is tap a PDF document, and you can draw shapes, insert pictures or handwritten notes, add a signature, highlight, and more, all driven by a very simple and intuitive interface.

Remarks for iPad is available now for $4.99 through the App Store (link).
