Adobe Posts Official Sneak Peek for Illustrator CS6

Adobe’s free public beta of Photoshop CS6 was announced just last week, and has been extremely popular – in fact it has already been downloaded over a half-million times! Now Adobe has posted a first sneak peek at another member of their upcoming “Creative Suite” collection – Illustrator CS6.

As you can see from the above video, the new Illustrator looks pretty awesome, and features a brand new pattern creation tool, as well as borrowing the darker interface introduced with the Photoshop CS6 beta. All in all, it looks pretty great.

While Adobe has yet to offer a public demo of the new Illustrator, I’m optimistic that they’ll do so fairly soon – after all, Adobe’s Creative Suite apps are meant to be experienced as a set.
