As Of Now, AT&T and Verizon Not Supporting 4G iPad’s Hotspot Feature

Both AT&T and Verizon representatives have confirmed that neither will support the iPad 4G’s hotspot feature at the present time, 9to5Mac reports. The new feature was mentioned by Apple in their keynote, but for now at least, it seemingly won’t be happening for people in the US. Apple’s Canadian 4G-supporting partners Rogers, Bell and TELUS have yet to respond.

This news was confirmed on Twitter here and here, even though Apple’s new iPad features page still shows the feature, presumably as it will be allowed by some or all of the Canadian networks.
