Today, the 1st of March 2012 is World Book Day, and to celebrate Ideal Binary are giving away their popular pop up book apps for free – yup, for 24 hours only all the books are absolutely free.
The stories are based on Grimms Fairy Tales and include Rapunzel, Hansel & Gretel and Red Riding Hood and feature 3D interactive elements of gameplay as well as the story (text and narrated) and all in a pop up book format.
All of the apps I checked in iTunes had 4+ ratings with a good number of ratings behind them, check out the range of free apps now.
The apps are available for the iPhone, iPad and desktop but those with an iPad will probably get the most out of the 3D interactive aspects – check out this video to see one of their apps in action:
