Apple To Implement Baidu Search Into Mobile Safari Next Month?

Apple is planning to add Baidu as a default search engine to iOS next month, Tech in Asia reports.’Knowledgeable sources’ claimed that Apple would integrate it into their mobile platform, something which Baidu themselves also hinted at during the launch of their new cloud storage service last week.

Even though this hasn’t yet been confirmed, it would make a lot of sense and be another selling point for iOS devices to the Chinese market.

This news will also further crank up the tension between Apple and Google – giving users yet another option will reduce how many use Google on iOS in China, and this will take a considerable chunk out of their user base.
