Apple Stores In London Getting Ready For 2012 Olympics

The Apple Stores in the London area are beginning their warm up for the 2012 Olympics by ordering considerable quantities of replacement parts in preparation for the ‘onslaught of journalists’ that will descend upon the city, TUAW reports. Around 10,000 print journalists will be in London for the games, and with many of them Mac users, a lot of Apple tech support will need to be on hand.

So far the only parts that have been confirmed for stocking are international keyboards, however according to TUAW this could extend to international MacBooks with American and Asian keyboards.

The streets of London will be packed for the duration of the Olympics, with shops expected to collect millions from eager shoppers. Apple’s stores will no doubt be one of the top commercial attractions, so if you’re claustrophobic, I would avoid them.
