Chinese Burn Paper iPads and iPhones In Honor Of The Dead

Chinese have been buying paper iPads and iPhones in order to burn them in honor of the dead for the Qingming Festival (or tomb-sweeping day), China Daily reports. One the festival’s traditions is to burn offerings to mourn the death of loved ones, and it seems that paper iDevices are now fully part of that.

While the paper iPads that they burn (pictured) may not look exactly like the real thing, it’s definitely the thought that counts. You can buy one for about $3.
