Tim Cook Has Meeting With Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo

Apple CEO Tim Cook has had a meeting with Ferrari President and Chairman Luca di Montezemolo to discuss their companies values and goals, Wired reports. While it doesn’t seem like Apple will be designing a supercar any time soon, di Montezemolo praised Apple’s values and leadership style.

Reflecting on the interview in a speech at Stanford, di Montezemolo was hugely complimentary about Apple as whole.

“When you’ve got a leader in a company like Steve Jobs,” di Montezemolo said during his talk, “people have big respect and big gratitude for what he’s done.”

“Vision is something crucial for your people.” di Montezemolo said. “Give them clear goals, clear priorities and give everyone the possibility to grow up [internally].”

It’s very interesting to see two great minds meet, especially when they are both at the top of their respective industries.
