Internal Apple ‘1944’ Video Sees Steve Jobs Play FDR To Inspire Sales Team

This is another video taken from the archive. Only recently discovered by Network World, it was meant as an inspirational video for the sales team against IBM, dubbed ‘1944’. Steve Jobs plays FDR, while some other employees have roles including then vice president of marketing Mike Murray as The General, even though most are professional actors. It’s pretty funny, but it also reminds you how much things have changed.

If you want to see Steve in full FDR attire, watch the video here. He appears for the first time at around the 5:20 mark, even though it is worth watching the whole thing so you can understand the story. Alternatively there is a separate video with only Steve’s appearance if that’s all you want to see.

If only Apple did stuff like this about Android nowadays, it would be hilarious!
