New iPad Ship Times Improve to Just 3-5 Days

Even as Apple’s new iPad continues to expand into new markets, availability for the device continues to improve. MacRumors reports that ship times for Apple’s new iPad are now down to just 3-5 days – down from the 5-7 business day estimate just two weeks ago.

The improved ship times are reflected in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico Apple Online Stores, and possibly others as well, suggesting that Apple is continually improving their grip on supplies and manufacturing. The improved ship times apply to both WiFi and 4G models in all available colors and capacities.

Even though supplies of the new iPad are improving, they are still constrained, as Tim Cook noted in Apple’s recent financial conference call (available to listen via iTunes). The iPad is currently available in 57 countries around the world.
