Supposed ‘iPhone 5’ Headphone Jack/Earpiece/WiFi Cable Component Emerges

After home buttons and SIM card trays, yet another supposed ‘iPhone 5’ part has emerged on SW Box, this time a component grouping together the headphone jack, earpiece and WiFi cable. If it is a legitimate part, it would indicate an internal (and possible external) redesign of the iPhone, as with current iPhone models, the headphone jack is grouped with the volume buttons and mute switch.

However just because the internals change doesn’t necessarily mean the external design will change – if it is genuine, Apple might simply be making way for something like a bigger battery or even a different chip, who knows. We will only know for sure when it launches, but with the number of new parts emerging, we could get a good idea of what differences the new iPhone might have with the current generation even before the keynote.
