Following yesterday’s progress report on the iOS 5.2 jailbreak for the new iPad, iOS hacker pod2g has released a video demoing the jailbreak on the new iPad – yet another sign that the public release of the jailbreak is drawing near.
Aside from the video, pos2g also confirmed that the hack works on Apple’s latest iOS 5.1.1 firmware – which is great news for those who couldn’t resist installing the update as soon as it was released!
All in all, the jailbreak seems to be coming along quite well – although it’s been noted that it is likely still a few weeks away from coming to a Mac near you.
