Apple Hit With Major Outage Affecting iCloud, iTunes Store, Developer Center, and More

Apple is currently experiencing a major outage affecting a number of their online services, including iCloud, iMessage, the developer center, and even the iTunes store. The issue appears to be fairly widespread, affecting a large number of users.

While some users are completely unable to access these services, other users are reporting severe lag when attempting to use Apple’s various websites and services, while others still appear not to be affected by the outage at all.

As MacRumors notes, Apple’s iCloud system status page currently lists known issues with the service. The cause and exact range of the outage is unknown, but we’ll let you know when and if we hear anything more about this.
