Apple Raises Mac Prices In Europe After Refresh

Pretty much as expected, Apple has decided to hike their Mac prices up in Europe, presumably to make up for the fall in value of the Euro, MacGeneration reports. Having said that, they do seem pretty harsh: the Macbook Air has gone from €949 to €1049, while the ‘classic’ Macbook Pro was bumped up by €100 and €130 depending on the model. The Mac Pro price also increased by €200.

Considering that no prices were increased in the US, a European has the right to be pretty annoyed, as it just widens the divide in prices between the U.S and the rest of the world in terms of Apple pricing.

As far as I can tell, the UK hasn’t suffered at all, with all if not most prices remaining the same, so it’s just Euro zones that are feeling the price of Apple. You can only feel sorry for them.
