Clambook Aims To Turn Your iPhone (or Android Phone) Into A Laptop

If you have an iPhone and want to add another dimension to it, this could be the right product. The Clambook, which allows you to use your iPhone as a notebook has just been announced and is scheduled for release by the holidays.

It’s pretty cool, and definitely has the feel of a certain thin, airy computer made by a company from Cupertino, but forgetting about that for second (we’ve had enough Macbook Air clones for today), it actually brings something new to the table.

The divide between form factors and categories is something that was revitalised with the introduction of the iPad, and using Clambook you can essentially make a smartphone (yes, it also works with Android) fit into the laptop category.

Clearly this is by no means a substitute for a laptop, but if you want bigger screen gaming and a better typing experience, then this is the solution. Again, it’s no out yet, but you can get more details from the official site here. I’m pretty sure this will be popular when it hits the shelves.
