Mid-2012 Macbook Air Teardown In Progress, Unveils Tweaked SSD Connector

The WWDC keynote was only yesterday, but teardown gods iFixit have already got their hands on the updated Macbook Air and are tearing it down right this minute. The outside clearly isn’t any different but the inside has revealed some pretty interesting changes, the most significant of which being a tweaked SSD connector compared to last year’s model.

That’s seems to be the only significant difference so far along with the new MagSafe 2 connection, with the layout remaining identical.

It is still going though, and if they find anything new and interesting, we’ll update this post (however that’s unlikely, as far, it’s been pretty much identical, bar some internal stickers being rotated slightly!).
