Sparrow for iPhone Finally Updated With POP Support

Following the release of the popular Mac mail client Sparrow on iOS, the developer has finally updated the app with support for POP email accounts – one of several “essential” features the app was criticized for lacking.

Sparrow for iPhone is now finally on relatively equal footing with its Mac counterpart, allowing users to add a variety of mail accounts to the app. Unfortunately, the app still doesn’t support push notifications, although the feature is rumored to be coming on a paid subscription basis later this year.

Sparrow for iPhone is available now from the App Store for $2.99 (link). An iPad version is also expected to be released in the near future.
