Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Coming September 18 For Mac and iOS

14 years ago, the original Baldur’s Gate was released for the Mac. Now, the developer Overhaul games has shed more light on the Enhanced Edition, which is coming out September 18 with a load of new features, Electronista reports.

We already knew by March that a new Baldur’s gate was coming to both Mac and iOS, but now more details are known, it’s even better. Among the changes are three new playable sidekicks and a new dungeon, while it is ‘including the original Baldur’s Gate game and integrating the expansion Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast’, according to Electronista.

The game, which is also being released on PC, is expected September 18, with the iPad version also scheduled for around then. The Mac/PC version will cost $20, while the iPad version will cost $10. A follow up Baldur’s Gate II is also anticipated for 2013.
