Leaked Image Shows New iPhone Cable With 9-Pin Mini Dock Connector

Following leaked images circulating earlier this month showing Apple’s supposed 9-pin mini dock connector for the new iPhone, USB cable specialist Veister claims to have gotten hold of an actual fully-functional sync cable, and shared images pf the cable with iLounge.

Notably, the images appear to match previous leaks regarding the smaller dock connector, and the cable also appears extremely similar to past and current Apple cables. The markings on the USB end of the cable likely indicate that it is a pre-production Apple part.

It’s already widely expected that a smaller dock connector will be included with Apple’s future iOS devices, and it seems that more and more information is surfacing about that connector as Apple’s September 12 media event draws closer.
