Next-Gen iPhone Begins Appearing In Server Logs

Apple’s next iPhone is believed to be right around the corner, with an announcement on September 12th. As such, it’s no surprise that Apple is actively testing the next-gen iPhone. In fact, the device is already appearing in server logs of popular websites.

TechCrunch provides an image from a server log showing that a device called “iPhone 5,2” had been used to access a developer’s site, which means that Apple is testing the device outside of their own private network, and testing its performance on various websites.

No specifics are available about the unit other than its model name – and again, the news shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. But its things like this that sent anticipation for Apple’s next device through the roof!
