Pixelmator 2.1 has arrived on the Mac App Store, packing full support for Mountain Lion and iCloud, Retina graphics for the new MacBook Pro, and a number of new features, such as an effects browser, new alignment guides, and more.

The app provides an exceptional image editing solution, providing a feature complete alternative to Adobe Photoshop for a fraction of the price (just $14.99, down from the usual $59.99). At $15, Pixelmator is an absolute bargain.
