For those of you that have been patiently waiting to buy a new Retina iPad until refurbished models became available, your moment has finally arrived. 9to5Mac notes that Apple’s U.S. online store is finally offering refurbished 3rd-gen iPads at a $50 discount!
The $50 discount applies across the board, regardless of color, capacity, or whether it has cellular data. Apple’s refurbished products present a pretty good deal. In fact, I consider them to be better than brand new, as Apple has restored them to brand new condition, and has given individual attention to make sure each one works perfectly – something which their brand new off-the-shelf items don’t get.
So, if you’re up for saving between 6-10% on a shiny new iPad, speed on over to the Apple Online Store and snap one up! It’s unclear when refurbished models will appear at Apple Online Stores outside of the U.S.
