Apple Unveils All-New iPod nano: Bluetooth, 2.5-inch Screen, and a Home Button!

Apple revamped the iPod nano at today’s special event with an all new design, moving away from the watch form factor and going towards the iPod touch. It has a 2.5 inch multi touch screen, as well as Bluetooth for wireless streaming and a built in pedometer.

The nano will come in seven colours, and it will also feature the brand new ‘Lightning’ dock connector which will also feature in the iPhone 5. Even more interesting, it now features a home button like the iPhone and iPod touch!

Priced at $149, there is only one 16GB model, with other capacities seemingly dropped. The new iPod nano will be released in October, and pre-orders will begin on September 14. Visit the iPod nano product page for details!

The iPod Shuffle, meanwhile, is the only iPod not to have been redesigned – only the colors have changed, with light blue, turquoise, yellow, red, purple, silver and black available, still for the same $49 price.
