Apple Shares Close at New All-Time High

With Apple’s big iPhone event just one week away, Apple’s stock closed today at a new all-time high as investors anticipate the company’s new products.  Shares closed today at $676.48 – nearly a dollar higher than their previous high, set on August 27.

Apple market value also remains high, at $633.72 billion, with the company retaining its title as the most valuable company in the world by a large margin. The second most valuable company after Apple is Exxon Mobile, with a market cap of $410.59 billion.
