Cricket and C Spire to Offer iPhone 5 Beginning September 28

The big three U.S. carriers, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will be carrying the iPhone 5 come launch day, September 21, but it won’t take long for Apple’s new device to start trickling down to the other carriers.

MacRumors:

Cricket Communications and C Spire Wireless have both announced that they will begin offering the iPhone 5 one week later on Friday, September 28.

Both carriers are known as pioneers in the U.S. iPhone marketplace, as C Spire was the first regional carrier to begin offering the iPhone in November of last year, while Cricket was the first U.S. prepaid carrier to carry the iPhone this past June.

The iPhone is now available on multiple U.S. carriers but it is unknown when the iPhone will come to the remaining carriers.

Alaska’s GCI and Appalachian Wireless have also announced they will carry the iPhone 5 on September 28.
