HP Spectre One Blatantly Rips Off the iMac (And Mac Accessories)

HP Spectre One Blatantly Rips Off the iMac (And Mac Accessories)

In yet another display of innovation, HP has announced their latest line of iMacs all-new Spectre One lineup of all-in one desktops – a completely original new product that’s nothing like anything ever created by a certain fruit company in Cupertino (via Engadget, TheNextWeb).

As you can see, the Spectre One looks like nothing anyone has ever seen before. In particular, it bears absolutely no resemblance to an iMac or an Apple Cinema Display. HP has also released an all-new keyboard and wireless trackpad, which are also completely unique and look nothing like Apple’s Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad.

OK, fine. I just can’t keep typing something so blatantly false. HP has clearly ripped of Apple’s designs here. There’s more than one way to design a computer, and HP’s new all-in one, complete with their new wireless keyboard and trackpad, are clear ripoffs of Apple’s own products.

I’m hard-pressed to think of a more obvious way HP could have ripped off Apple’s designs, aside from pasting an actual Apple logo on each device. Seriously.
