iPhone 5 Estimated to Cost Apple Just $167.50 in Parts

Apple’s new iPhone 5 is being offered at the same price they offered the iPhone 4S at last year – but how much does it cost Apple to actually put one together? According to an early estimate from TechInsights, the new iPhone packs a list of about $168 in parts alone.

Once you add the cost of packaging, marketing, storage, sales, design, and so forth to the list, Apple is really not making as much of a killing of the new iPhone as you might think at first!
