iPhone 5 Ship Times Slip to 3-4 Weeks On Continued High Demand

iPhone 5 shipping estimates quickly slipped to 2-3 weeks following the first round of pre-orders (which sold out in just one hour!) – but the delays aren’t over yet! Continued strong demand for the handset has now increased that delay even further, with current ship times now estimated at 3-4 weeks (via MacRumors).

At this point, anyone pre-ordering the iPhone 5 may as well wait for a while and see if they can buy one on Friday or shortly thereafter. 3-4 weeks is a long time to wait! The increased shipping times apply across all models and carriers of the iPhone 5.
