New Photos Show iPhone 5 Will Be Dramatically Thinner Than iPhone 4S

Repair firm iResQ, who have already leaked a significant number of parts for Apple’s new iPhone, posted several new photos yesterday providing a close-up view of the new iPhone (all of its external parts, at least) alongside the iPhone 4S.

While previous images have compared the new iPhone to the iPhone 4S, these new image put the iPhone 5s thin build in perspective extremely well, showing that the device is dramatically thinner than the iPhone 4S.

Apple tends to make their devices thinner every chance they get, so it should hardly come as a surprise that Apple found a way to slim their new iPhone down even more than the 4S – but it’s still striking to see it demonstrated so clearly.

Apple is expected to introduce the new iPhone at a media event on September 12. Check out our iPhone 5 rumor roundup for the full scoop on what to expect from Apple’s new iPhone!
