Apple Hand Monument Unveiled In Ukraine To Commemorate Steve Jobs

We’ve seen some pretty cool tributes so far this week to remember Steve Jobs who passed away a year ago on October 5, but this one is rather unique, which is fitting to remember somebody who thought different.

Ukrainian artist Cyril Maksimenko has created a giant hand with the Apple logo cut out through the middle, UkraineTrek reports (via Cult of Mac). Even better it’s made purely from old car, motorcycle and bike parts, and it looks really cool close up.

The monument, which is on display in Odessa, is the first statue to honour Jobs we’ve seen this year, even though last year we did see a couple including this one.

The statue has ‘Thank you, Steve’ on it in both Ukrainian and English, so it’s great see him being honoured in yet another country and language.
