How to Create Custom Vibration Alerts for Individual Contacts in iOS 6

We’ve already shown you how you can set up custom vibration patterns for calls, texts, alerts, and other events in iOS 6 – but did you know  ou can also set custom vibration alerts for any specific contact? It’s an easy way to quickly identify who is calling or messaging you, and can help you decide whether a call is important or not without even having to look at your phone!

Fortunately, this is extremely easy to set up. To set a custom vibration pattern for a contact, just open the Contacts app on your iPhone, select the contact you’d like to set the vibration alert for, tap Edit, and scroll down until you see the ringtone and text tone fields. Under each of these, there’s a setting called vibration. Tap that setting, select “create new vibration”, and create your very own pattern.

That’s all there is to it! Enjoy!
