While Siri is a useful feature, activating Siri can make a lot of noise on your iOS device. By default, Siri’s tones are played back at a set volume which can’t be turned down through Settings. Fortunately, there is an easy way to hush Siri up, or even mute Siri’s sounds.
To adjust the playback volume, just activate Siri on your iOS device, and press your device’s volume keys while Siri is still active. You can now set her as soft or as loud as you like! Sometimes you just want Siri to shut up – and now you can make it happen!
