Flickr for iPhone Updated With Better Sharing, Improved Notifications, and More

Last week, Yahoo’s Flickr app for iPhone received a massive new update, adding filters, a great new look, and loads of new features. Today, following Instagram’s recent controversy over their new privacy policy, Flickr has released yet another update, adding improved sharing, better notifications., and more – and their timing couldn’t be better to appeal to users who are planning to dump Instagram!

What’s New in Version 2.01.772

We’re releasing several new enhancements based on your feedback, including:
– Better visibility of photo upload status
– It’s now easier than ever to share your Flickr photos on Facebook
– Get instant notifications when your Facebook friends join Flickr
– Easily find your Twitter contacts on Flickr
– New notifications when someone comments on a photo you’ve also commented on
– Fixed issues with Google sign-in
– Plus other bug fixes

Congrats to Flickr on taking advantage of this easy opportunity to snag some more users  – and adding a few nice new features in the process! Flickr for iPhone is available now as a free download from the App Store.
