Possible New ‘Aperture X’ Mentioned In Amazon Book Title

Normally, leaks and rumors come from online or China, however this one is different. An upcoming book title on the Canadian Amazon, ‘Aperture X: A Workflow Guide For Digital Photographers’, suggests that Apple will be releasing a new version of its pro photography software soon, Apple Insider reports.

Adding to the credibility is the ‘under NDA’, non disclosure agreement, which suggests that somebody doesn’t want the name Aperture X to be out in the open.

At 322 pages long, it’s of decent length, and it already has ISBN numbers. Scheduled for release on March 1, 2013, it references Aperture 3 in the description, however that probably has little significance. That is the previous edition of the book, and was probably mentioned as a placeholder.

Final Cut Pro X was released last year, and so Aperture X and Logic Pro X would make sense.
