Apple Q1 2013 Earnings Call Set For January 23

Apple Q1 2013 Earnings Call Set For January 23

Apple updated their investor information page yesterday evening, revealing that they will be announcing their earnings for the first fiscal quarter of 2013 (spanning October-December 2012) on January 23rd. As usual, the company will publish an official press release at 4:30 PM EST, and will then hold a conference call lead by CEO Tim Cook and CFO Peter Oppenheimer to explain, expand, and discuss the results.

The report should be especially interesting, as it will reveal Apple’s performance throughout the holiday shopping season. It will also offer details of the first full quarter of sales for both the iPhone 5 and iPad mini. We will be tuning into the conference call, and will relay the most interesting and revealing bits shortly after the session ends.

If you would like to tune in, the call will be live streamed from Apple’s event page as well. In October, Apple projected revenue of $52 billion and earnings per diluted share of $11.75 for this quarter – and if they meet or excede those figures, this could easily be Apple’s strongest-performing quarter of all time!
