Untethered iOS 6.1 iPhone 5/iPad 4 Jailbreak Expected to Launch This Superbowl Sunday

Following the release of iOS 6.1 earlier today, iOS hacker (and member of iOS jailbreak power team @Evad3rs) @MuscleNerd notes that the public jailbreak for iOS 6.1 could launch on Superbowl Sunday.

It’s a moment the entire iOS community has been waiting for very anxiously. Here’s the actual tweet:

iOS hacker @pod2G previously confirmed that the jailbreak was ready, pending the release of iOS 6.1 – now all we have left to do is wait for Sunday to arrive. Who’s ready for an untethered iPhone 5 jailbreak? I am! When available, the jailbreak will support all of the following devices:

▪ iPhone 3GS
▪ iPhone 4
▪ iPad 2
▪ fourth-generation iPod touch
▪ iPhone 4S
▪ iPad 3
▪ fifth-generation iPod touch
▪ iPhone 5
▪ iPad mini
▪ iPad 4

Now it’s just a waiting game. C’mon, Sunday!
