Tim Cook to Join First Lady Michelle Obama for State of the Union Address

Not only will Apple CEO Tim Cook be attending next Tuesday’s State of the Union address – he’ll be doing so as the personal guest of First Lady Michelle Obama, and will be seated next to her as the president delivers his address, AllThingsD reports.

It’s not uncommon for the White House to invite guests to the State of the Union – but when it happens, that usually means they’ll be mentioned during the address in some form. In this case, it’s likely that President Obama will bring up Apple’s recent decision to move some Mac manufacturing to the U.S.
