Apple Releases Shorter Lightning Cable, Tweaks Remote on In-Ear Headphones

MacRumors reports that Apple has released a shorter version of its Lightning to USB cable, the new 0.5 meter cable is half the length of its standard cable. Apple has also made a minor change in its in-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic.

The shorter Lightning to USB cable follows the shorter Thunderbolt cable Apple introduced last month.

There is no price difference between the two lengths of Lightning cable, both are priced at $19.00. The shorter option allows for less clutter in smaller spaces.

Apple also tweaked their In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic, with a more rounded design for the remote.
