Apple Stops Selling Mac Pro Online In EU And EFTA

Ahead of the March 1st deadline from which the Mac Pro will no longer meet EU regulations, Apple has stopped selling it in all its online EU stores. It is also no longer available countries in the European Free Trade Association, namely Switzerland and Norway.

It’s interesting that Apple has decided to remove them so far ahead of the March 1st deadline. In the past, we’ve seen it take things right up to the deadline (Apple Care in Italy, for example), so perhaps it is just playing it safe.

A totally new Mac Pro is expected in the spring, which explains why Apple is not updating the current model to meet regulations.
