Evasi0n iOS Jailbreak Updated to v1.1, Fixes Weather App and Reboot Issues

The developers of the popular ‘evasi0n’ untethered iOS 6 jailbreak have released an updated version of their jailbreak, which fixes issues some users reported regarding unusually long device boot tomes after jailbreaking, as well as an issue that caused the iOS Weather app to crash after jailbreaking.

From Evad3rs team member @planetbeing on Twitter:

evasi0n 1.1 has been released on the site with the latest fixes. You may have to clear your browser’s cache to see it.

Note that you do not need to download evasi0n 1.1 if you’ve already jailbroken.

There is nothing in evasi0n 1.1 that is not already in Cydia.

Users who have already jailbroken do NOT neet to jailbreak their device a second time. Instead, those running the jailbreak can update using Cydia on their device. Those who haven’t applied the jailbreak can download evasi0n 1.1 from the official website. Check out our tutorial on how to jailbreak your device using evasi0n on your Mac!
