Apple Seeds 12th OS X 10.8.3 Beta (Build 12D74) to Developers

Apple today released yet another beta of OS X 10.8.3 to developers – the 12th beta since testing began in late October. That makes OS X 10.8.3 the most exhaustively tested OS X update we’ve ever seen (especially for a minor maintenance update!). The update comes two weeks following the previous beta build.

The build number of the new update comes in at 12D74, and as with the previous beta builds, this build lists no known issues, and Apple has asked developers focus on AirPlay, AirPort, Game Center, Graphics Drivers, and Safari. The update is available now through Software Update for users already using a beta build, as well as direct download from Apple’s developer page.

It’s only a matter of time before Apple finally releases OS X 10.8.3 to the public – we’ll let you know as soon as we hear it has been released!
