New Pics Show Alleged ‘iPhone 5S’ Front Camera, and Unidentified Part

Another day, another rumor… And, a couple more photos said to be from the upcoming new iPhone. Alleged images of a camera component, and an as yet unidentified part from a supposed “iPhone 5S” have hit the internet.

AppleInsider:

One of the components featured in the supposed leak is what appears to be a front-facing camera, similar in appearance to the one built in to the iPhone 5. The serial number shown on the “leaked” part is similar to the one seen on the iPhone 5 part, notes NoWhereElse.fr. The flexible portion where the component connects to a motherboard, though, is apparently quite different from the one seen on the iPhone 5 component.

There is also an image of another component said to belong to the new phone, although its function is as yet, unknown.

The site that leaked these has previously leaked components that went into Apple’s new Lightning connector, and has displayed other parts said to be from the “iPhone 5S,” or “iPhone 6,” as well as a alleged cover glass surface from a fifth-generation iPad.
