Online Apple Store Updated With iPad Friendly Scrolling, Revamped Search Engine

Many wondered why the online Apple Store went down yesterday. It turns out, Apple has not only added iPad friendly scrolling to the Mac, iPad, iPhone and iPod pages but also revamped the search engine for the store, with a much more friendly and graphical user interface.

I’m not sure how many people actually browse the Apple Store site on their iPad, but regardless, Apple has taken the extra measure to better the experience for tablet users.

As well as the easier on the eye layout, you’ll also find product information, iTunes links and support links under the main search results. I much prefer this layout. Text is boring. To try it out for yourself, simply search for a product in the Apple Online Store.
